Eye Disease Diagnosis and Management
We treat pink eye, conjunctivitis, corneal abrasions, remove ocular foreign bodies. We also detect and treat glaucoma with the latest in diagnostic instrumentation and medications. We always check for cataracts , and of course diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, during the comprehensive eye examination.
We evaluate your eye health using the latest diagnostic instruments that allow us to detect eye disease at its earliest stage. And the earlier disease is detected the earlier it can be treated, which increases the chances of a positive outcome. Ultrasound pachymetry, retinal photography, spectral domain optical coherence tomography (OCT), and threshold visual field testing are among some of our diagnostic instruments.
If you are diagnosed with an eye disorder, in many cases the specialized testing you will need is conveniently available at our practice so you can remain here at a familiar location for your necessary follow up care. If it becomes necessary for you to see an eye disease specialist or eye surgeon, we will coordinate your care and refer you to a physician we have previously dealt with and feel confident that they are one of the best in our area.”
